What Is a Mobile
Compactor System?
A Mobile Compactor Storage System — also called a compactus or mobile shelving unit — is a high-density storage solution in which entire banks of shelving move horizontally on floor-mounted rails. Unlike conventional static shelving, compactors consolidate all items into one or two active aisles, eliminating the dead space of multiple fixed aisles.
